AB109 Program
Under California’s AB 109 Public Safety Realignment, WorkNet provides employment and supportive services to individuals affected by the justice system. Our program assists eligible participants with case management, job readiness, direct employment referrals, OJT (On the job training), Paid Work Experience, Career Exploration, Vocational Training and other essential resources to support successful reintegration into the workforce and community. *those that qualify for AB109 must be referred by their Probation officers.
Adult and Dislocated Program
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker Program provides employment and training services to individuals aged 18 and older, including those facing barriers to employment or job loss from layoffs. WorkNet helps you chart your course to success by offering personalized career counseling, resume assistance, interview preparation, and direct job placements with local employers. To help you secure sustainable, in-demand employment, eligible participants can seize tailored training opportunities—including vocational training in fields like healthcare and manufacturing, paid hands-on work experience, or On-the-Job Training (OJT), which offers wage reimbursements to employers. Additionally, WorkNet provides critical supportive services to eligible enrolled participants to cover essential needs like training supplies, tools, uniforms, and certification fees, ensuring you have the resources to achieve long-term financial stability.

Childcare Workforce Development
In partnership with the Family Resource & Referral Center of San Joaquin, this initiative supports San Joaquin County residents by expanding access to high-quality childcare through provider training, licensing support, and increased capacity for infant, toddler, and special needs care. Digital Literacy
Free Digital Literacy classes are now available at the San Joaquin County EEDD WorkNet location, providing hands-on training to help participants build computer skills, apply for jobs online, and learn digital tools to support and grow their business. New participants must attend a Digital Literacy Orientation on Mondays at 2:30 PM to get started, with classes held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:30–4:30 PM. Participants who complete the training may also qualify to receive a free Chromebook or laptop, while supplies last.
EWorks (CalWORKs)
Through a partnership with CalWORKs, WorkNet assists referred clients with job search support, employment services, and career development. Our program helps participants build job skills, gain work experience, and access resources like transportation, books, and training tools, empowering them to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
Healthcare Workforce Development
In partnership with HealthForce Partners, this initiative supports San Joaquin County’s healthcare workforce by providing scholarships, educational seminars, and training opportunities for local students and healthcare professionals. Prison to Employment (P2E)
The Prison to Employment (P2E) is intended to provide resources for direct services to formerly incarcerated, and other justice-involved individuals. Services offered through this program includes; Case Management, Career Exploration/Development, Vocational Training, job readiness, direct employment referrals, OJT (On the Job Training), and supportive services to help them successfully re-enter the workforce.
Regional Equity and Recovery Partnerships (RERP)
The Regional Equity and Recovery Partnerships (RERP) program helps individuals facing barriers to employment by providing case management, career exploration and development, vocational training, job readiness support, direct employment referrals, on-the-job training (OJT), and other supportive services. This program is designed for those interested in pursuing careers in the transportation, distribution, or logistics industry. Eligible participants receive hands-on training, skills development, and job placement support to help them secure sustainable employment.
Standing Together Against All Regional Theft (STAART)
