The San Joaquin County Office of Education’s Greater Valley Conservation Corps helps youth and young adults ages 18 to 26 years old with academic instruction, employment opportunities, green job training, life skills, and more. WorkNet's goal is to offer employment and education assistance for youth and young adults ages 16-24 with the following: career exploration, work readiness, paid work experience, assistance with GED/High School Equivalency, financial literacy, tutoring and study skills, and supportive services.
YouthBuild San Joaquin provides 18-24 year olds who are in need of a high school diploma with the job skills, leadership, and education necessary to succeed in this community. YouthBuild San Joaquin's unique combination of on-the-job training, support toward obtaining a high school diploma, and community service provides participants with a challenging and rewarding experience. YouthBuild San Joaquin is an affiliate of YouthBuild USA, a network of programs dedicated to the empowerment of at promise individuals through education, skills development, and leadership opportunities.
